At the Connected Africa Summit 2025, Meta showcased its Llama large language model integrated with the FoondaMate app, highlighting AI’s potential to enhance educational access across the continent. FoondaMate allows students to ask questions, access past papers, and receive explanations in real time. Now integrated with Llama, during the demonstration the chatbot responded clearly, step by step, and in conversational language.
