AI keynote speaker: AI, Learning, and What Comes Next

A research-led AI keynote from Jody Britten, Ph.D., for audiences who are past the hype and need to decide what to do. Jody is a researcher and strategist, not a tools demonstrator, and this talk is built for people who carry responsibility for learners, staff and budgets.

What this keynote covers

Most AI talks describe what the technology can do. This one asks what it should do in places where people learn, and what the evidence says so far. Jody draws on her work leading the largest K-12 AI policy study in the United States and on design work with educators, students and families through The AI and Education Studio.

The talk introduces the Range of AI Use: the difference between people passively consuming AI output and people using AI to create, investigate, model, question and apply. Where an organization sits on that range says more about its future than which tools it has bought.

It closes with the decisions leaders cannot put off: who governs AI use, how people build capacity, and how you will know whether any of it is working.
